Two ships sail from Baltimore to Bermuda, and only in the warmer half of the year. Royal Caribbean's Vision of the Seas runs a 5-night round trip and a 9-night trip that adds the Bahamas, from late May to October 2027. Carnival Pride runs 7-night round trips from late June to October, between its weeks in the Bahamas.
All of them dock at the Royal Naval Dockyard, where Bermuda's two piers for big cruise ships are. The table at the end of this guide lists every Bermuda sailing on the schedule, with today's starting fares.

The 5-night trip is the shortest cruise of any kind from Baltimore and the cheapest way to see Bermuda. It gives you an afternoon, an evening and the next morning ashore. Carnival Pride spends two nights docked, which is enough for a full day at the beach and another in Hamilton or St. George's. On 25 October 2026 the cheapest Pride sailing cost about the same per night as the cheapest 5-night Vision sailing, $137 against $138.
Bermuda's 2027 port schedule has Vision of the Seas leaving at 1pm. The itinerary Cruisebound shows has it leaving before noon. Go by the time the ship gives you on board.
Where do Baltimore cruises dock in Bermuda?
At the Royal Naval Dockyard, in Sandys Parish. The Bermuda Tourism Authority lists King's Wharf and Heritage Wharf there as the piers for large cruise ships. Bermuda's Department of Marine and Ports puts every 2027 Vision of the Seas call at Heritage Wharf. It has Carnival Pride at Heritage Wharf for five calls and King's Wharf for one, with the pier not yet assigned for the other three.
The Dockyard has a visitor information centre, and Snorkel Park Beach is inside the complex, close enough to walk to from the ships.
Getting from Dockyard to Hamilton and St. George's
The ferry is quicker than the bus. Bermuda's summer ferry timetable, in effect from 6 April 2026, runs the Blue route between Dockyard and Hamilton. On weekdays boats leave Dockyard about every hour from 8am to 2pm, then at 4pm, 6pm, 8pm, 9pm and 10pm, and the timetable has them in Hamilton 20 to 30 minutes later. Weekend services are fewer.
The Orange route runs from Dockyard to St. George's, at the other end of the island, but only in summer. It sails four times a day on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, three times on Tuesdays and Fridays, and not at all on Sundays. Out of season, the Bermuda Tourism Authority says to take the Blue ferry to Hamilton and a bus from there.
Buses 7 and 8 run between Dockyard and Hamilton. Route 7 goes along the South Shore past Horseshoe Bay, which the government's timetable puts at 37 minutes from Dockyard on average, and takes about an hour to reach Hamilton.
Bermuda bus and ferry fares
These are the Government of Bermuda's prices, checked on 25 October 2026.
| Ticket | Adult | Child (5 to 15) |
|---|---|---|
| Ferry, Blue or Orange route, cash | $5.00 | $2.75 |
| 1-day bus and ferry pass | $19.00 | $9.50 |
| 2-day pass | $31.50 | $16.00 |
| 3-day pass | $44.00 | $22.00 |
A pass covers every bus and ferry route on consecutive days. Children under 5 travel free on the ferries. Cash fares need exact change, and the government says drivers don't give change or take dollar bills, so a pass is simpler. The visitor information centre at Dockyard sells tokens and passes, and the Shorelink app sells the same fares for Visa or Mastercard.
Beaches near the cruise pier
Snorkel Park Beach is the one you can walk to, with rentals, lockers, restrooms and food. The Bermuda Tourism Authority calls it the best beach near Dockyard.
Horseshoe Bay is on the South Shore. Bus 7 gets you there from Dockyard, or a taxi. Lifeguards are usually on duty from May to October, about 10am to 6pm, which covers every Bermuda sailing from Baltimore.
Money in Bermuda
The Bermuda dollar is worth the same as the U.S. dollar, and the Bermuda Tourism Authority says shops take the two interchangeably and usually give change in U.S. dollars. Most cash machines pay out only Bermuda dollars. Visa, Mastercard and American Express are taken almost everywhere.
Weather and hurricane season
Bermuda is warm for the whole cruise season. The Bermuda Weather Service's 1991 to 2020 normals put the average daily high at 76°F in May, 85°F in July, 86°F in August and 80°F in October. Its published sea temperatures, from older records covering 1949 to 1992, average 72°F in May and 81°F to 83°F from July to September.
These cruises sail in hurricane season, which runs from 1 June to 30 November. The National Hurricane Center puts the peak on 10 September, with most activity between mid-August and mid-October. If you are looking at a late-summer sailing, read the line's terms on itinerary changes before you book.
Documents for a Bermuda cruise
The cruise lines accept a birth certificate and photo ID for these round trips, but Bermuda's tourism authority says every visitor needs a passport. Our documents guide sets out both sides.
